ORLANDO, Fla. – A University of Central Florida student was sexually assaulted after deputies say a man with a gun approached her.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. Friday on Discovery Drive near the UCF campus.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said the 32-year-old student was taking out the trash at her apartment when she said an unknown man with a gun approached her and sexually assaulted her. He is reported to have a handgun.
After the attack, deputies said the suspect ran to a car and sped away.
No description of the car was available, but deputies described the suspect as a black man who is 6-feet tall with a skinny body type.
The woman was taken to Florida Hospital East for evaluation.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office said it will not release names of the woman or apartment complex due to privacy reasons.
