"Come Out With Pride" expected to draw thousands Saturday

Day of events planned in Downtown Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – Over 100,000 people are expected in Downtown Orlando Saturday for the annual "Come Out With Pride" event.

The annual gay pride festival has grown to one of the largest in the state since it first began in 2005.

Saturday events include a 5K road race in the morning, a large festival with music and entertainment around Lake Eola starting at noon, and a parade through the streets of Downtown Orlando starting at 4pm.

Some lane closures began Friday night along Rosalind Avenue in Downtown Orlando and more road closures are expected all day Saturday because of the event.
