Picture posted on Facebook shows Cape Coral men as Zimmerman, Martin

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – The Halloween costumes of two Cape Coral men are causing controversy after a picture reportedly posted on Facebook showed the duo dressed up as George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin.

The Smoking Gun reports Greg Cimeno, 22, portrayed Zimmerman by wearing a Neighborhood Watch shirt and holding up his fingers to depict a fake gun.

William Filene, 25, was dressed up as Martin by covering his face in black paint and donning a gray sweatshirt with a single bullet hole, surrounded by fake blood, according to the website.

The picture, which was posted with a caption saying "Happy Halloween from Zimmerman & trayvon," has since been taken down.
