Suspect sought in armed dollar store robbery in Deltona

Deputies say suspect stole undisclosed amount of cash

DELTONA, Fla. – A Family Dollar in Deltona was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.

An employee was leaving the store with a bank deposit bag around 7:30 a.m. when deputies say a man with a gun ordered her to give him the bag containing an undisclosed amount of money.

The employee described the suspect as a black man with gold teeth around 20 years old. She also said he was about 5-feet 6-inches tall with a medium build.
