Police working to identify skeletal remains found in Sanford
Autopsy planned to determine cause of death
SANFORD, Fla. – Police in Sanford are trying to identify human remains found on Thursday.
A woman called police after noticing a foul odor and buzzards circling in the area of 1800 Summerlin Avenue.
Police searched and found the bones.
Investigators believe the remains are of an adult male. An autopsy is now being done to try and determine what happened to the man and to try and identify him.
The Medical Examiner's Office will conduct the autopsy.
