NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – There's some Hollywood buzz happening in Central Florida as a new movie called "Tomorrowland," starring George Clooney, has taken over New Smyrna Beach. Some locals say they caught a glimpse of another star, Tim McGraw, filming in the area.
Spencer Wemble is part of the crowd that watched on as crews shot scenes from "Tommorrowland" outside a liquor store on US-1.
"It's crazy to think about a movie in New Smyrna," said Wemple. "I want be in the movie, I want to be an actor."
Not many details have been released about the Disney movie, but locals don't mind.
Many in the crowd are almost certain they saw country music star Tim McGraw as police led an SUV trailer past people watching on US-1.
"I can't believe I saw Tim McGraw," 17-year-old Elizabeth Robinson told Local 6.
"The security guard told me that Tim McGraw was in the driver's seat," said April Michalowski.
Further down US-1, extras scrambled into position moments before the SUV trailer passed by a nearby Dairy Queen.
