Record high temperatures recorded in Daytona Beach

Fog to return Friday morning

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The heat was on in Central Florida today. Daytona Beach tied a record from 1984 when the temp made it to 83 degrees.

In Orlando, the high tagged 84 degrees.

On Thursday night, look for the low to drop to 63 as the fog will return late.

Friday the heat will continue. Early fog will be followed by a really warm, sunny, day. The high go back to 84 again.

For Saturday and Sunday the high each day will hit at least 83. There is no mention of rain until at least Tuesday.
