Men working on tree shocked by power lines

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Firefighters say one man died and another was taken to the hospital in critical condition after they got tangled in power lines while trimming a tree.

Seminole County firefighters said the men were working in a tree on Alexa Court in Winter Park around 10 a.m. Saturday.

The men got tangled up in power lines while they were working.

Officials said Francisco Hernandez was injured and taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center to be treated.

The other man, 22-year-old Delvin Reynoso, was declared dead at the scene, officials said.

Duke Energy was called out to cut power in the area and some traffic signals were out on Howell Branch Road for a short time while firefighters brought Reynoso down from the tree.

Officials said both men worked for H & K Landscaping Company.
