Wrapped body of missing woman washes ashore at Central Florida beach

Patricia Danna-Harrison had last been seen on Dec. 19

SEBASTIAN, Fla. – A missing Sebastian woman who the Brevard County Sheriff's Office's cadaver-sniffing K-9 unit searched for last month was found dead at a Jupiter beach, Sebastian police said.

Patricia Danna-Harrison, 67, was last seen by friends on Dec. 19 after she attended a holiday party.

On Dec. 28, the BCSO K-9 unit joined a collaboration of law enforcement officers and federal agents that searched numerous locations in Sebastian and surrounding areas, to no avail.

On Dec. 29, detectives planned to talk with Danna-Harrison's son, Alfred Geary. When they arrived at his home, they found Geary dead from an apparent suicide.

Sunday afternoon, Sebastian police announced that Danna-Harrison's wrapped body washed ashore at a Jupiter beach.

Anyone with information on the case should call the Sebastian Police Department at 772-589-5233.
