Small plane crash injures 2 in Apopka

APOPKA, Fla. – Orange County firefighters were called Sunday afternoon to a small plane crash.

Firefighters said the plane crashed on Haas Road, near Apopka, just after 2 p.m. Sunday.

Officials said there were two people on board and both suffered traumatic injuries.

The pilot and passenger were transported by Air Care to Orlando Regional Medical Center while a fuel spill was being cleaned up.
