Deputies said Eric Brooks was playing loud music from a vehicle just after 9 p.m. and asked him to turn it down because he was violating the law.

At around 10:30 p.m., the loud music started again and Eric Brooks was arrested. Clifford Brooks then "got within inches of Lt. Turner's face and began yelling at him," according to the release.

Clifford Brooks was then arrested after refusing to walk away, deputies said.

Eric Brooks was charged with breaching the peace and Clifford Brooks was charged with resisting an officer.

Deputies also said both brothers were intoxicated and smelled of marijuana.
