Foul smell leads to discovery of body in Orlando rooming house

Orange County deputies name suspect

ORLANDO, Fla. – A foul smell coming from an Orlando rooming house led to the discovery of a body, prompting a homicide investigation, according to deputies.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office on Thursday identified the man as 60-year-old Harry Lieble, pictured below, and ruled his death a homicide.

Deputies said they're searching for 40-year-old Michael Bertran, who's been named a suspect in the case.

Lieble's body was found around noon Wednesday after deputies were called to a home at 2007 Morning Drive because of the stench.

Anyone with information about Bertran's whereabouts is urged to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.

A rooming house is a house with furnished rooms to rent.
