Police respond to threats, find shooting victims

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are investigating a shooting incident that left one person dead and one person in critical condition Saturday.

Around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, police said an officer was responding to a call about threats being made.

While the officer was responding, police said he heard multiple gunshots being fired from Polk Street.

Police said when they got to the area they found two men had been shot.

One man was taken to the hospital and was last reported to be in surgery, officials said.

Police said the other man was killed at the scene, which was a block from West Washington where investigators believe the shooting happened.
