ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Altamonte Springs police say an 85-year-old man is custody after standoff with authorities on Friday afternoon.
Police said the man barricaded himself with a rifle in a home on Oak Hollow Way. The incident was reported as a medical call by the man's wife and police say the man suffered a medical episode.

Two homes were evacuated nearby in the Country Creek Estates subdivision as the investigation continues, police say.
