2 arrested after Marion deputies find gun, drugs during search
Suspect faces multiple felony charges
MARION COUNTY, Fla. – A man and woman were arrested after deputies say they found drugs, a loaded weapon, and other items while conducting a walkthrough.
Jessica Price, 37, and Eric Westman, 37, both of Ocala, were arrested at their residence along NE 37th Street on Sunday.
According to officials, Price wouldn't let the deputy search a room after smelling marijuana coming from it. The deputy arrested her on a charge of resisting an officer.
Then, officials say the deputy found six glass methamphetamine pipes, numerous pills, more than $800, scales, marijuana pipes and plastic bags. Also found were 58 grams of methamphetamine, 23 grams of cocaine, 1,677 grams of marijuana and several guns, including a loaded AK-47.
Westman will face six counts of drug possession, display of a firearm during a felony, and five counts of drug trafficking according to deputies.
