Motorcycles, stunt shows, concerts on tap

LEESBURG, Fla. – Thousands of bikers have flocked to Leesburg over the weekend as the 18th annual Leesburg Bike Fest.

The festival, which is billed as the world's largest three-day motorcycle and music event, will feature acts Vanilla Ice and Uncle Kracker.

From the custom patches to clothes and accessories, Bike Fest is also bringing big business to Leesburg.

"It puts a big boost in our economy around here," said Ed Cihoski. "I don't live too far from here and we all reap the benefits."

Dee Willis rode up from South Florida to get the seat on her bike recovered.

"We usually find better deals on getting stuff done to our bikes," Willis said. "Last year I got my pinstripes with pink."

Vendors are putting their best products on the table for the 18th annual celebration.

"I walked around and most of the tents are busy, so I'm sure today everyone is going to make money," said Ben Sener, a Daytona vendor. "I'm sure everyone is going to go home happy."

The Leesburg High School football team is expecting to make thousands of dollars selling parking spots. Coach Rich Maresco said it's the team's biggest fundraiser

"Helmets, shoulder pads, going to camp, team meals, anything that's going to help the football team," Maresco said.

Stunt shows, custom motorcycles on display and more than 70 concerts are also on tap for the weekend.

Nearly 200,000 people are expected to attend through Sunday.
