Megabus.com expands service to Miami

Seven daily routes to Orlando and Tampa begin May 15

MIAMI – Megabus.com is expanding service to Miami starting in mid-May, the company announced Wednesday.

Seven daily arrivals and departures to and from Tampa and Orlando will begin May 15 from two different locations in Miami. The first stop will be outside Concourse H at Miami International Airport; the second is in downtown Miami, next to the Freedom Tower Metromover Station.

The company is known for its low fares in 120 cities across North America, some starting as low as $1, plus a reservation fee. For the first week of service, all trip purchased between Miami, Tampa, and Orlando will cost $1, plus a reservation fee. That offer runs from May 15-May 22. 

The additional routes will bring more than 60 news jobs to Florida, according to Megabus.com.
