PARK COUNTY, Colo. – A Colorado woman missing for four days was found alive Sunday, trapped inside her mangled car.
Deputies in Park County said the woman was severely dehydrated and had multiple injuries. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Deputies said a group of hikers found the wrecked car 140 feet down the side of a scenic highway.
Rescuers said the woman wrote messages on an umbrella and stuck it outside of the crashed car, hoping someone would notice it.
