The ATV driver, Martha Richardson, 34, of Sanford, was also hurt, Local 6 News partner Florida Today reported.
The FHP said Martha Richardson was at the controls of the vehicle in a parking lot at Stuckaway Road and Interstate 95 in Scottsmoor around 5:20 p.m. While backing up, the elder Richardson lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a parked Chevrolet Impala.
The ATV overturned and pinned her and one of the young passengers.
Lee Nessel, a spokeswoman for Brevard County Fire Rescue, said one of the young victims was flown to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando.
The other two were also injured. They were transported to Parrish Medical Center, she said.
The Highway Patrol said it was initially unknown if helmets were worn by any of the victims. The incident remains under investigation, with charges pending.
