Kissimmee police search for man in bank robbery

Robber wearing Jacksonville Jaguars hat, police say

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Kissimmee police are searching for the man they say robbed a bank Friday afternoon.

Police said the robbery occurred just before 3 p.m. Friday at the BB&T bank on John Young Parkway.

The man handed the teller a note demanding money and implied he had a weapon, according to police. He left the area with an undisclosed amount of money and police locked down schools in the area as the investigation continued.

Police described the culprit as a white male, approximately 20-30 years of age with a red beard and mustache. He was wearing a light blue shirt, red striped tie, blue jeans, glasses and a Jacksonville Jaguars ball cap, while carrying a small laptop style bag, police said.
