Undercover cops are stationed at crosswalks
ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County police are cracking down on "Operating Best Foot Forward" by ticketing drivers who don't stop at pedestrian crosswalks.
Undercover cops were spotted at Mercy Drive and Kalwit Lane pulling over several cars for not slowing down and stopping at crosswalks. Drivers were issued $164 tickets.
Officers will be stationed throughout the city, making sure drivers follow the rules of the road.
They will be back in designated areas Thursday to continue enforcing these rules throughout the summer.
