2 arrested after guns, grenade launcher found in SUV, Orlando police say

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two men are in police custody after tactical officers say they found them driving a car with 13 guns and a grenade launcher stashed inside.

According to investigators, the tactical officers pulled over a 2007 Audi SUV at 4 p.m. on Wednesday near the intersection of N. Pine Hills Road and Pinto Way in Orlando.

Inside, they found four rifles, seven handguns, two semi-automatic handguns and a grenade launcher.

Authorities said three of the weapons had been reported stolen from police departments and the U.S. Coast Guard.

Two of them were stolen from Orlando police and one of them had been stolen from the Lakeland Police Department.

The grenade launcher had been stolen from the U.S. Coast Guard.

Fritz Smith Joseph, 31, and Delroy Blake, 29, were taken into custody.

Orlando police investigators told Local 6 they are reviewing how and when the weapons were stolen from their department.
