SPRING HILL, Fla. – A large sinkhole opened in a Florida neighborhood, forcing the evacuation of a home.
The hole, estimated to be about 40 feet wide and 30 feet deep, opened in Spring Hill, causing structural damage to a home.
"It's devastating. You don't expect it," said Michelle Parisik, the homeowner's daughter. "The whole front of my mom's house is on a ledge, hanging pretty much."
Parisik, who lives in the home, is staying at a hotel while she figures out her next step.
Inspectors will continue to monitor the hole.
