Woman in selfie sought in Lakeland cellphone theft

LAKELAND, Fla. – Lakeland police are seeking the public's help in identifying a woman whose picture was taken by a cellphone she allegedly stole.
A gray Samsung Galaxy Exhibit was stolen July 17 from a from a Buick Le Sabre that was parked at the Lakeland Regional Family Health Center at 300 Parkview Place.
Police said the victim has a security application on the phone that took a photo of the person who tried to access her phone. The photo was apparently emailed to the owner of the phone.
The woman was last seen wearing a green dotted dress.
