FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A Flagler man was found guilty Wednesday of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child.
Evidence in the trial for Caleb Ruh, 29, showed that he touched the victim inappropriately on more than one occasion.
Ruh's defense was that he suffered from "sexsomnia," and that he committed the acts while he was sleeping.
It only took the jury one and a half hours to agree on a verdict.
Ruh faces up to life in prison. His sentencing hearing has been set for Sept. 29.
According to WebMD, sexsomnia is defined as a sleeping disorder where sex acts are committed while a person is sleeping.
