Osceola deputies search for man who exposed himself to girl walking to school

Cops say man inappropriately touched himself in front of 12-year-old

POINCIANA, Fla. – Osceola County deputies are searching for a man who they say approached a 12-year-old girl walking to school and exposed himself.

Deputies said the girl was walking to school in the area of Monterey Road and Brighton Court in Poinciana when the man, driving a green, older model sedan, approached her and tried to get her attention three times.

When the girl turned around, the man was exposed and inappropriately touching himself, according to deputies.

The man then left the area and the girl told her parents, who notified law enforcement.

The driver was described by deputies as a light-skinned, thin white male in his 20s or 30s, bald with brown eyes and was wearing a white T-shirt with turquoise design.

The father of the girl says since the incident his entire family has had trouble sleeping while the man is still roaming the streets.

"What he did to my daughter was trifling.  It was disrespectful.  It was sick," he said. "And people don't do that."

The father says the innocence the man took from his girl is something that can never be replaced.

"I don't think that my daughter should be going through this. It's not fair that some pedophile, some perv decides to take that from her," he said.
