Subway robber who wore 'Scream' mask sought, Orlando police say

Police: Woman wore dark sunglasses, pulled 'Scream' mask over her face

ORLANDO, Fla. – Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a woman who robbed a Subway restaurant while wearing a "Scream" mask over her face, according to the Orlando Police Department.

The woman entered the Subway at 4900 Millenia Blvd. at 9:45 p.m. Aug. 31 and went into the bathroom.

Just before 10 p.m., the woman left the restroom, walked up to the counter and presented a note, stating that she was robbing the store. Police said there was no weapon seen or implied.

While at the counter the woman, who was wearing dark sunglasses, pulled a "Scream" mask over her face, according to Orlando police.

Following the robbery, the woman fled from the store through the north door and was last seen on foot heading eastbound.

The robber was described by Orlando police as a dark-skinned black woman between 25-40 years old who is 5 feet 6 inches tall and has a medium build.

Anyone with information about the woman's identity is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS. Police said callers can remain anonymous and receive a cash reward.
