Mechanical issue causes SunRail train delays
Southbound train from DeBary canceled, officials say
DeBARY, Fla. – A mechanical issue canceled a SunRail southbound train and caused delays on Friday morning.
Florida Department of Transportation officials said the issue has canceled the southbound train out of DeBary that left at 10 a.m. and turns around at 11:15 a.m.
Delays have been reported to be 40 minutes long and officials said they are announcing the delays and cancellation at the platforms. Lynx had a bus bridge running during the cancellation, officials said.
The next southbound train leaves the DeBary station at 12:30 p.m. and has a northbound turnaround at the Sand Lake Road station at 1:45 p.m.
It's not clear what the mechanical issue is.
