ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding two teens involved in a purse snatching that left a 63-year-old woman with a spinal injury.

The two teens approached a 63-year-old woman standing at the intersection of Balboa Drive and Santa Anita Street around 9:30 p.m. Monday on BMX-style bikes, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said the teens slammed the woman to the ground and took her Italian leather purse with black straps.

The woman suffered a serious spinal injury and was taken to a hospital, deputies said.

Deputies described the purse snatcher as a person who has a medium-brown complexion, is about 16 to 18 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds with a muscular build, a round face, and has short black hair and brown eyes.

The woman described the suspect in the sketch as having "the tiniest ears she has ever seen," deputies said.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office is asking for anyone who may know about this incident to call the Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
