Video raises questions in Daytona Beach councilman attack

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Last Sunday Daytona Beach City Councilman Rob Gilliland was arrested after police say he got into an argument with another man and then punched him in the head.

Alan Robinson, 66, says Gilliland punched him after he took Gilliland's keys from his truck because he thought he was drunk.

The Daytona Beach News Journal reports it has seen video of the encounter, but that at no point in the video does Gilliland strike Robinson.

Gilliland is charged with battery of a person 65 years or older.
