Boy attacked while trying to protect girl

Orlando police investigate beating involving 15 teens

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are looking for a group of teens they say attacked two other teens.

The attack happened Friday at the Englewood Community Center near Englewood Elementary School.

Police say a group of about 15 teens surrounded another teenage boy and girl and a boy in a bright green shirt pulled out a knife and told the pair to empty their pockets.  Police say the boy also threatened to shoot them if they did not cooperate.

Another teen then grabbed the girl's blue iPhone 5c, and when the boy tried to get the phone back, the other teens jumped him, according to police.

He suffered bruises, swelling and had his front tooth knocked out, police said.
