Celebrating its 24th year, your worst nightmares will take shape as the park is transformed into the award-winning Haunted Houses, Street Experiences and outrageous live shows.

7p.m. – 12 a.m. The Asylum Haunted House – 610 Glen Cheek Dr., Port Canaveral

This house is not for the faint of heart. It is very dark and windy, there are small spaces, and things will touch you. If you're brave enough, come for a visit, if you dare.

7:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. A Petrified Forest 2014 1360 E. Altamonte Dr., Altamonte Springs

Within this Altamonte Springs haunted house, you will find over 85,000 square feet of sheer horror. Best of all, this mega-haunt is located right in the middle of our forest.

 8 p.m. - 11p.m. Wednesday Night Pitcher Show - "The Exorcist" (1973) Enzian Theatre, South Orlando Ave., Maitland

Free outdoor movie on the lawn. Beer and food available for purchase at the Eden Bar. Valet parking available for every Wednesday Night Pitcher Show for $3 per car. Show your valet stub for a free popcorn.

Thursday, Oct. 30

6:30 p.m. – 1 a.m.   Halloween Safe Night – American Legion #286, 529 E. Fairlane Ave., Orlando

7:30 p.m.– 11 p.m. A Petrified Forest 2014 – 1360 E. Altamonte Dr., Altamonte Springs

Within this Altamonte Springs haunted house, you will find over 85,000 square feet of sheer horror. Best of all, this mega-haunt is located right in the middle of our forest.

7:30 p.m. – 1 a.m.          Howl-O-Scream – Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay

The streets will be swarmed with hundreds of roaming creatures, making escape nearly impossible. Chilling live shows and the chance to challenge Florida's top thrill rides in the dark!

Friday, Halloween, Oct. 31

4 p.m. – 6 p.m.      Free Trick-or-Treat at Orlando Fashion Square – Orlando

This annual tradition of free Halloween Trick-or-Treating at Orlando Fashion Square is back with mall stores and tenants ready to greet and treat youngsters in costume. Plus, enjoy Halloween games and arts & crafts for the kids.

4 p.m.-  9 p.m. Halloween Costume Parade and Contest, 223 Canal Street, New Smyrna Beach

The 40th Annual Halloween Costume Parade and Contest begins at 4 p.m. at the corner of Orange Street and Canal Street. The parade will proceed east on Canal Street to the Chamber of Commerce parking lot.

The costume contest for children and adults begins immediately following the parade. Only homemade costumes will be judged!

5 p.m. – 9p.m.   Free Halloween at Cranes Roost Park – Altamonte Springs

Halloween at Cranes Roost is a community oriented door to door trick-or-treat alternative for kids, sponsored by the City of Altamonte Springs. The 19th Annual Halloween event features local businesses sponsoring booths to hand out candy and trinkets to an estimated 15,000 kids. There are costume contests for all ages, inflatable games and live entertainment.

5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Hometown Halloween in the Park Kit Land Nelson Park, Apopka

Free Trick-or-treat in the Park at booths from local area businesses from 5:30 p.m. 7:30 p.m. Old Fashioned, family friendly games, plus a costume contest (with prizes) will be offered. Costume contest is categorized by age group. Don't forget to bring a bag or basket to collect all of your goodies! At 7:30, come watch Disney's Haunted Mansion on the big screen set up in the Park. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the movie comfortably.
