Santa Claus is coming to town -- already

Local malls invite families to join holiday celebration

SANFORD, Fla. – You better watch out and definitely not pout because Santa Claus is coming to town -- in early November, not late December.

Families are invited to spread the holiday cheer Friday by welcoming St. Nicholas and his elves to the Seminole Towne Center, Millenia Mall and Florida Mall.

At the Seminole Towne Center, Santa will lead the tree-lighting ceremony and have cookies available for children. The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. It is free to the public. To find out more information, click here.

The event at Millenia Mall will kick off at 5:30 p.m. Friday with a dance party and rooftop arrival at the mall's main entrance. Pictures with Santa will be available starting at 7:30 p.m. Admission to the event  is free, but for food and drinks, a $15 donation per family of up to four is required. Pictures will Santa will be available at the Florida Mall in E Court near Michael Kors starting Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will continue through December 24. For more information, click here.

At Volusia Mall, Santa will be arriving on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Center Court and will continue through Christmas Eve. For more information, click here.

Santa will be at the Oviedo Mall and Altamonte Mall starting Nov. 14 and 15, respectively.
