OCALA, Fla. – A missing Marion County teen has been found safe and sound.
According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office 17-year-old Hayle Wallace was located unharmed Sunday morning in Lakeland by the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office was searching for Wallace Saturday and had asked the public for help.
The Sheriff's Office said she had been last seen at 24 Pecan Run Way in Ocala around 6 p.m. Wednesday wearing a red shirt, black cargo pants and a black backpack.
Deputies said Wallace moved to Ocala about four months ago from Clearwater and may have been heading in that direction.
