Police searching for sedan that hit victim

ORLANDO, Fla. – Police are searching for a driver who fled after hitting a bicyclist early Thursday.

The hit-and-run crash happened after 2:30 a.m. on Kirkman Road near Universal Orlando Resort.

According to police, a man was riding his bicycle north on Kirkman Road near Major Boulevard when the driver of a sedan-type vehicle hit him.

Police said another driver witnessed the accident, but was focused on the victim and unable to give officers a clear description of the vehicle.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
