Car crashes into Orlando home


ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating what caused a driver to crash into a home on Thursday afternoon.

Troopers said that the 40-year-old driver was traveling eastbound on Lake Tiny Circle when for an unknown reason, she drove through the yard  and struck the front of the house.

No one was inside the house at the time of the crash, troopers said.

The driver was taken to Health Central with minor injuries.

Local 6 news helicopter Sky 6 flew over the scene, where the front of the four-door Toyota was smashed into the front of a home.

The crash remains under investigation.
