7 Orange County homes hit with bullets

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County Sheriff's deputies have made an arrest in a shooting that sent one man to the hospital.

Jaslin Hall was taken into custody Saturday morning after deputies said they found a high-caliber assault rifle on the back seat of a car he was driving.

According to the Sheriff's Office, deputies heard multiple shots go off near Orange Blossom Trail and Kaley Avenue when they spotted the car leaving the area.

The Sheriff's Office said deputies followed the car, witnessing one person get out of it and run near 18th Street, before they secured it along with Jaslin Hall.

Deputies were initially responding to a call on Saturday of shots fired on 18th Street where they found several spent shell casings and several homes damaged from bullet holes.

A black man believed to be in his 30s was also found on 20th Street with gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

Hall was charged with principal-attempted murder, principal-aggravated battery and assault.
