Man followed shoppers, burglarized vehicles, Orlando police say

$10K worth of items stolen

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are searching for a man they say followed shoppers through the Mall at Millenia and burglarized their vehicles.

Police said the man was caught on surveillance video Nov. 30 watching victims as they shopped in a high-end boutique at the mall.

The man then followed the victims to the SuperTarget located by Mall at Millenia, where their vehicles were burglarized.

Police said the man stole nearly $10,000 worth of property.

The man was described by police as a Hispanic male in his 30s or 40s, approximately 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and 190 pounds with black hair. Police said he was last seen wearing jeans, brown shoes, purple/blue striped shirt and holding a black jacket.

"With the holidays fast approaching, hopefully we can identify this suspect and avoid someone else becoming a victim," police said in a release.
