Dense fog blankets Central Florida

Dense fog blanketed much of Central Florida Monday morning. 

Visibilities north of Orlando were as low as a quarter mile in some spots, including Ocala and the Villages.

Southwest winds will again kick afternoon highs into the low 80s, with a high of 82 in Orlando.  The current record high is 84 set in 2007.

Dense fog is likely overnight again Monday, with the potential of isolated showers. A slow moving front tracks into Central Florida Tuesday, bringing a 30 percent chance of rain and a high of 81.

Cooler temperature arrive Wednesday with a high of 76, and we welcome 2015 with dry conditions and a high of 78 Thursday.
