Eustis police search for man in attempted bank robbery

EUSTIS, Fla. – Eustis police are searching for a man they say tried to rob a bank Monday morning.

Police said a man approached the teller at the TD Bank on South Bay Street just before 9 a.m. and told the teller this was a robbery.

When attention was drawn to him, he walked out of the bank without money, according to police.

The man was described by police as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, in his late 50s to early 60s with a gray mustache and goatee, wearing a camouflage ball cap, zip-up style dark gray hoodie jacket and dark colored pants.

No injuries were reported.
