Semi hauling garbage overturns, closes Orange County roadway
Driver uninured in crash
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An open semitrailer hauling garbage overturned Tuesday morning in Orange County, prompting officials to close a busy roadway.

The crash occurred around 10 a.m. on South Orange Avenue at Sand Lake Road in Pine Castle.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 34-year-old Jose Rios, of Orlando, was headed south on Orange Avenue when he lost control of the semi, which flipped onto its side.
Debris spilled on the roadway, which was closed while crews removed the trash and the truck was towed away.
Rios was not injured in the crash.
An investigation is ongoing and charges are pending against Rios, troopers said.
