MARION COUNTY, Fla. – Detectives launched a homicide investigation after they found the body of a man inside a Fort McCoy home, according to Marion County deputies.
Investigators tell Local 6, they went to the home along NE 176th Lane Sunday night after receiving a phone call regarding a shooting.

According to deputies, they found the victim identified as Billy Seaver deceased at the scene.
Detectives say they are gathering evidence but so far have made no arrests.
Another adult and a child were in the home at the time of the shooting, but they were not injured, deputies said.
