OVIEDO, Fla. – A multivehicle crash forced officials to close a major roadway in Oviedo for hours on Monday.
Oviedo police said at least four vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred around 12:45 p.m. on Mitchell Hammock Road near Alafaya Trail.

One driver was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries and another was taken to the Oviedo ER, police said. An infant suffered minor injuries in the crash, police said.
Full details of the wreck, however, have not been released.
Mitchell Hammock was closed from Aloma Avenue to Clonts Street for several hours.
