ORLANDO, Fla. – A kitchen fire forced evacuations Wednesday morning at an Orlando apartment complex.
The fire broke out at the Lakeview Pointe apartments off South Rio Grande Avenue near Holden.
Orange County firefighters said the fire started in the kitchen of a second-floor unit, and the smoke forced several families from their homes.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Red Cross is assisting the displaced families.
