Teen arrested in connection to Fort McCoy homicide

FORT MCCOY, Fla. – A 17-year-old boy was arrested Friday in connection to a shooting that happened at a Fort McCoy home, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

The shooting happened Sunday at a home at 13536 Northeast 165th Lane.

Deputies arrived at the home and found Billy Seaver, 39, dead at the scene.

Detectives interviewed more than 30 friends and known associates of Seaver to learn who was at his home in the previous 48 hours, deputies said.

Detectives were able to identify Levi Robert Dibble-Hemm, 17, as a suspect involved in Seaver's death, according to the Sheriff's Office.

As detectives tried to learn about Dibble-Hemm's involvement in the homicide, he requested his attorney, deputies said.

Dibble-Hemm has been charged with second-degree homicide.
