HOLLY HILL, Fla. – A woman was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the middle of a Volusia County street, according to police.
The shooting happened Sunday night in the 600 block of Unabelle Avenue in Holly Hill.
According to police, the 38-year-old woman was taken to a hospital. She was expected to be OK.
Investigators told Local 6 they were interviewing witnesses to determine the identity of the assailant.
According to police, the shooter is believed to be a known acquaintance of the victim.
