ORLANDO, Fla. – A fire broke out early Tuesday at a vacant home in Orange County, prompting two neighboring homes to be evacuated.

The fire started around 4 a.m. at a home on Cobia Court near Goldenrod and Curry Ford roads.

Officials said flames were shooting from the front of the home when firefighters arrived.  The fire was extinguished, and the home will likely be considered a total loss, fire officials said.

The homeowner, who lives nearby, said the home was being renovated.

No one was injured in the fire, and no other homes suffered damage.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
