Man arrested after slapping TSA officer at Orlando International Airport, FBI says

Officials say man was causing disturbance at airport

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man was arrested after slapping a Transportation Security Administration officer at Orlando International Airport, according to officials.

FBI officials said Mohammed Abdullah Alomaim was causing a disturbance, being loud and repeatedly leaving his bags unattended at the airport on Jan. 18.

An Arabic TSA officer tried interpreting but was slapped by Alomaim.

Alomaim was arrested by US marshals on Feb. 4 and is being held in Seminole County jail.

He is being charged with assaulting a federal officer.
