Man struck by 2 vehicles at Orlando Speed World Dragway

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man was struck Wednesday night by two vehicles at the Orlando Speedworld Dragway on East Colonial Drive, officials said.

The victim, who is reportedly a worker at the racetrack, was struck around 7:30 p.m.

Legendsnation.com, a racing news media website, reports that the incident happened after two cars hooked together and spun onto an unused part of the track.

The victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he is reportedly being treated for a leg injury and possible head injuries.

A witness told Local 6 that deputies were searching for a camera inside one of the vehicles that hit the man.

No other details were immediately released.
