Orlando City expands lower bowl seating for next home game

Club to increase capacity at Citrus Bowl to 23K seats

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando City Soccer Club said on Tuesday it will increase the capacity for the next home game to 23,000 seats.

According to a release from the team, the extra seats for the March 21 home game will be located in the corners of the lower bowl of the Citrus Bowl.

The March 23 game matches up the Lions with Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

Attendance for Saturday's season opener at the Orlando Citrus Bowl was the largest crowd for a soccer match ever at the historic venue, surpassing attendance for the 1994 World Cup, officials said.
